Photography - Start with your children photo

This is my daughter, Amalia when she was 4 I think. I like this photo because seeing our small children happy makes us happy too. Yeah, small children, I didn't say teenagers, did I?

One challenge with children photography is photographer cannot control them. When she realize I wanted to took her photo, she started to move, acted not the way I wanted etc. Guess, after all, we still enjoy those unplanned moments too. So, I normally keep shooting, hoping some of the photos turn out nice and natural.

Photoshop Tutorials

I use Picasa & Photoshop CS3 to edit my photos. For basic simple touch up, I use Picasa. But, for better photography editing, I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photosop for advance photography editing. I find this website useful to get some Photoshop tutorials.

This flower is not real btw. But, with photography, of course with good techniques you can make the flower look real.... I think the flash was bounced up. With a bit of color correction.. this is the result... not bad la....

myphotografitti: Shanghai Photo Grafitti @ Night...

shanghai
(Sony A350 ISO400 F3.2)

Night scenery photograph shot across the river. Color reflection on the water is the nice part of this photo. I wish more buildings lights were on.

Anyway, life is like that. Not perfect huh! You get something, but not all. Like I appreciate this photo's water reflection so much, despite I don't get all the buildings lights-up. Not bad la, enjoy.

myphotografitti: Water reflection photography is always amazing

A Reflection?
Sony A350 DSLR Tamron 17-50 F2.8 lens
Touched up w Adobe Photoshop

Cool! Water reflection always look great... and makes me feel good too! haha! This photograph was shot in bright sunny day. It was not shot on water surface with trees reflection on it. It was on a black car's side mirror. aha! I'm in the mood to be creative today...... myPhotoGrafitti!

Traditional way keeping tea warm in the pot....

DSC04503-Edit
Sony A350 DSLR Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 lens at F4.0 S1/2 ISO400
Modified w Photoshop

This photo is about creativity. It is a tea-pot with a burner that keeps the tea warm.

It tells me, we have to be creative too, at work, at school, in problem-solving or in decision-making.

Greenish Skyline.... why not?

greenish sky? why not!

Sony A100 F9.0 Edited w Adobe Photoshop
Marang, Terengganu, Malaysia

I modified (grafitti on photo) so I the sky turns out greenish. My friend says it looks scary.
That's right, I was a bit stressed with my work that day, so my photo reveals it. My boss told me I might be loosing job due to my dept will be outsourced....

Photo Grafitti - Another Dimension of Photography

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Graffiti (singular: graffito; the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti is sometimes regarded as a form of art and other times regarded as unsightly damage or unwanted.

Photography (pronounced /fәˈtɒɡrәfi/[1]) (from Greek φωτο and γραφία) is the process, activity and art of creating still or moving pictures by recording radiationon a sensitive medium, such as a photographic film, or an electronic sensor. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects activate a sensitive chemical or electronic sensor during a timed exposure, usually through a photographic lens in a device known as a camera that also stores the resulting information chemically or electronically. Photography has many uses for business, science, art and pleasure.

Combining Photography and Grafitti into Photografitti, is my artwork 'painted' on photos or while photographing. Yeah! I may spoil the photos, just like people spoil walls somewhere with their 'creativity'... So, I spoil places, potraits, objects, etc. with my DSLR camera and/or by editing the photos... Actually, in short, this is a place I share my photos... if the photos are good, it is probably I am a good photographer, if the photos aren't good, hehe! just call them spoilt by my grafitti work...!

Anyyway..... Have fun & enjoy myphotografitti!
